DIRECTIONS TO UNITED ALUMINUM
Coming from Bradley Airport (or Hartford), or points north
(CARS)
- Take I-91 South
- Get off at exit 9 and make a right off the exit.
- Continue straight ahead, go over the overpass, past Home Depot, BJ's and Showcase Cinemas...
- At the end of the street (T junction) turn right onto Sackett Point Rd.-- you'll go under I-91
- Take your first right onto Locust Avenue. That becomes United Drive and
- UA is straight ahead.

(TRUCKS)
- Take I-91 South
- Get off at exit 12 and make a left off the exit.
- Go straight for 7 lights and turn right onto Broadway
- At next light turn left onto Elm
- Continue straight through 2 lights, this will bring you to a T-junction, turn left onto Locust Avenue. That becomes United Drive
and
- UA is straight ahead.
Coming from New Haven
(All Vehicles)
- I-91 North
- Get off at exit 9 and make a right off the exit.
- At the next light turn left (Dairy Mart is on the right)
- Go approx. two miles to next light and turn left onto Sackett Point Road
- Go to the next light and make another left onto Grasso (blue building the corner)
- At the end of street (T junction) turn left onto United Drive
- UA is straight ahead.
Coming from New Jersey, New York City...
- Take I-95 North
- In New Haven get onto I-91 North
- See "Coming from New Haven"
Coming from Eastern Connecticut or Rhode Island
- Take I-95 South
- In New Haven get onto I-91 North
- See "Coming from New Haven"
Coming from upper New York or north west Connecticut
- Take I-84 East, get off exit 26
- Take Rt. 70 East to Rt. 10 South
- Follow Rt. 10 South to Rt. 40
- Take Rt. 40 to North Haven, get off at Bailey Road (not exit 1)
- Make a right at the light onto Elm St.
- Follow for about a mile, Elm St. will become Grasso Ave.
- At the end of the street (T junction) turn left onto United Drive,
- UA is straight ahead.
Coming from central CT using the Merritt
- Take the Merritt going towards Hartford.
- Take exit 62, turn left (east) onto Dixwell.
- Take ramp (left) onto SR-40 (Mt Carmel Connector) towards I-91 / Bailey Road / Hartford
- Keep right to stay on ramp towards Bailey Road (do not get on I-91)
- Bear right onto Bailey Road, then turn right at the lights onto Elm Street.
- Continue through next light, road name changes to Grasso Ave.
- Go to the end of the street and turn left onto United Drive.
- United Aluminum will be straight ahead.
