The first general purpose aluminum rolling mill in the United
States to receive ISO 9002 registration is now certified to the
expanded 9001:2000 standards.
ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized set of
standards
for a Quality Management System against which
United
Aluminum Corporation has been measured and
certified.
As a requirement to maintain certification, United Aluminum
must successfully undergo rigorous third party audits yearly
in addition to our own internal audits to ensure continued
compliance with the standard.
"Ship on time; ship the quality of goods agreed upon;
make every transaction merit a repeat order. This is the
spirit that pervades our organization. Whether you order
a pound or a carload, you are entitled to service, the
quickest possible shipment and above all - United
Quality."
We wrote these words in our 1919 employee handbook, and
remain true to this philosophy today. |
